The Rotary Club of Sonoma Valley has selected Jeff Walter, a municipal attorney and former Sonoma city attorney of 13 years, as president for its 2026–2027 year, coinciding with the club's 80th anniversary. Walter, who joined in 2023, intends to continue the club's work on food insecurity, nonprofit grants, youth education and local waterways. Last year the club distributed more than $125,000 in grants to 33 area nonprofits, funded largely by its annual Luck o' the Irish raffle.
