Flying Tails, an airborne animal rescue nonprofit headquartered in Sonoma, is holding a full-moon fundraiser on August 28th, from 6 to 9 p.m., in a hangar at the Sonoma Valley-Schellville Airport on Arnold Drive. The evening features a sit-down dinner, auction, dancing and live music from singer Jonathon Poretz, with founder Ken Wayne as MC. The group has flown bear cubs, mountain lions, raptors and other animals to sanctuaries this year, and its rescue series is due on PBS early next year.
