A temporary traffic circle at West Third and Perkins Streets, installed to slow cars and improve bicycle safety, has drawn opposition from Sonoma-area residents who question its need, purpose, and cost. Part of the city's "Third Street West Bike Boulevard Project," the circle is one of several proposed calming measures along the route between the Sonoma Bike Path and Fryer Creek trail.
